A-Level physics- Analog Signal Processing (Best Maths and Physics Tutor in UK) |
In the previous lecture, I have tried to give a clear concept of Analog and Digital signals. Today I will discuss about the processing of analog signals. We are the best Maths and Physics tutor center in UK.
Filter circuit: A circuit that can select certain frequencies from a mix of AC frequencies in the circuit. In a stereo system, high frequencies go to another speaker and low to another.
LC Parallel: A circuit with an inductor L ( stores energy as a magnetic field ) and a capacitor connected in Parallel.
Inductance: A measure of coil resistance to current changing. The unit of inductance is Henry. A coil has a 1 H inductance when the current changing at 1A per second induces a voltage of 1V across it.
State the stages of operation of an LC Circuit.
Capacitor charges as the switch are at ‘a’
S disconnected and the capacitor stores electrostatic potential energy.
S at ‘b’ capacitor discharges its energy stored as the magnetic field starts to collapse so emf induced in opposite direction (Lenz's Law)
Capacitor recharges with opposite polarity and cycle repeats.
